Construction:

Until the end of 2001, all Bavaria Yachts were completed to the exacting regulations of German Lloyds. These regulations governed both design and construction elements. Jayne-E is a German Lloyds approved Bavaria.

Hull:

Solid GRP laminate using below the waterline with Kevlar reinforcement in the bow-section to increase impact resistance. Divinycell closed-cell foam core is used above the waterline for increased stiffness and insulation against noise and heat/cold. Unlike more commonly used end-grain balsa wood core, Divinycell does not absorb moisture and will not rot. All interior bulkheads are glassed in and the oversized chainplates are mounted to oversized knees.

Deck & Superstructure:

GRP with a Divinycell core. The deck is finished with a gelcoating non-slip finish. The cockpit has a teak capped sole and seating. Alloy toerail.

Keel & Rudder:

The keel is a cast iron bulbed fin externally bolted in place. The rudder is a GRP blade with a stainless steel stock. The yacht is finished in bright white gelcoat with mid-blue waterline stripe, style line and superstructure stripe. The anti-fouling is light blue.

Volvo MD2030 3-cylinder 0.68litre naturally aspirated 29hp diesel Engine. Freshwater engine cooling via raw-water inlet and heat exchanger
