Allocation of Dinghy Parking Spaces

The club has 5 spaces allocated in the council boat park. The intention is to allocate the use of these spaces in a manner which is fair and open, and which will help promote dinghy sailing activities.

1. One space will be allocated to the club GP14. It will be at the discretion of the committee to allocate further spaces for club boats. This will be implemented at the time of regular allocation of spaces, as indicated below.

2. Spaces will be allocated on a twelve-monthly basis; April - March.

3. Allocation will be implemented through a ballot, conducted in March.

4. Elligibility critera for entry in the ballot will be as follows:

• Full, Family, Junior or Life member of Coleraine Yacht Club.
   
• The dinghy, or the individual, will have taken part in CYC dinghy event on at least 6 occasions in the previous 6 months.
   
• Submission of a ballot entry form, along with a £20 fee, on or before the first Sunday of the month in which the ballot takes place. Unsuccessful applicants will have their fees returned.

5. Each dinghy occupying one of the five allocated spaces will carry a numbered tag to indicate to marina staff those boats which are parked under the auspices of CYC.
