The 24h Race was first run in 1969 and has run continuously except for a few years in the nineties. It is a ‘team relay’ race run over a 1.85 mile triangle course on a tidal section of the River Bann. The trophy goes to the crew who sail the longest distance in 24 hours.
The event is open to sailors aged 8 and upwards (under 18s do not sail during night-time hours) & we suggest minimum team size of 4 sailors.
For visitors, we have 10 x (unserviced) motorhome pitches, 50 x campsite pitches and several local B&Bs.
